Fish Shape From Scrap Wood [No Power Tools]

I had some scrap wood laying around and I thought to make fish shape from it, so that is the first thing crossed my mind. To be more interesting I glue two different kind of wood and start shaping into a fish. For that I used hand saw. After that I used sandpaper and file to get smoother surface at the end.

Last step in this woodworking project

As a last step in smoothing I use fine sandpaper 320 grit. When was that done, I coated fish with teak oil and left to dry for a bit.

Two fishes project took me 5 hours. I used scrap wood as I mentioned, epoxy glue, teak oil and tools such as: sandpaper 180, 320 grit, table clamp, hand saw, small planer, screwdriver…
