In today’s pyrography project I am burning a king of the forest motive on a bamboo chopping board. Board for burning is in excellent shape and with concave middle. So, I just jump into it!
This is actually a first time that I was burning with pyrography pen on bamboo board. It is very pleasant and easy in my opinion. Because the wood is not too hard or too soft. Pyrography pen is sliding nicely. My recommendation for bamboo to be used in pyrography art, hobby or professionally.
In the last stage of this project I have used a lighter torch for the first time as well, and I like it. It worked great, it makes surface more live and more interesting. Therefore I will try this technique in some of the future videos as well.
Like I said, I did this video is in several stages:
-drawing contour lines
-continuing with the pyrography pen
-burning bamboo wood with lighter torch
-cleaning some overburnes outside contour lines
