Pyrography on a Birch Disc [No Music]

Hi there, welcome back! Today I worked on a birch wooden disc with my pyrography pen. As a motive I choose flying duck with a bit of cattail water plant. I had to sand for a bit to get smoother surface.

After that I draw with the pencil, burned contour lines and gave a bit of color. As a last step I used clear coat spray to protect color. Oh, yeah. I put as well a frame hook, so can be placed on the wall…

Time used for this pyrography project was around 4 hours and material: wooden piece from a birch tree, hanging hook. Tools used for this wood burning project: pyrography set, sand paper, color pencils, clear coat spray, small hammer.
